[Also in Divisions B1-2] An assay material comprising an alkali metal fluoborate salt of diazonium benzene para sulphonic acid is prepared by adding to an aqueous solution containing approximately equivalent amounts of aminobenzene para sulphonic acid and an alkali metal fluoborate an approximately equivalent amount of alkali metal nitrite while maintaining the temperature below 10‹ C., then lyophilising the product. The borofluoride salt may be the Na, K or Li salt. |
