FIELD: wet cleaning of gases from dust, applicable in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, building and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: dust collector has a casing accommodating an axial pipe connection for inlet of dust-laden gas, installed on its upper end is a swirler made in the form of a hollow disk with shaped blades rigidly fixed inside it, screen in the form of a truncated cone located under the swirler and attached with the smaller base around the external edge of the disk, axial pipe connection for outlet of cleaned gas installed concentrically outside the pipe connection for inlet of dust-laden gas; the wall of the pipe connection for inlet of dust-laden gas, the lower wall of the swirler and the screen wall are made hollow, and their cavities are interconnected, liquid spraying devices are installed on the outer surface of the screen wall.
