An apparatus for the transport of fluids along a given path, in a body (2), has a lower body (1) in a complementary shape which forms the paths. The body (2) has openings (21) and projections (22) which form capillaries. Spacers (5) are fitted so that an opening (21) is formed between neighboring projections (22), which is large enough to give an inactive capillary effect. One or more fluid feeds, which can be dosed, are at the projections (22), with a dedicated fluid feed for each capillary gap (4). The body (2) with the openings (21) and projections (22) is formed by a flat cover plate (23), and the lower body (1) is formed by a flat carrier plate (11). The spacers (5) are component parts of the carrier plate (11) or cover plate (23), using equidistant webs. Or they are distance pieces of a defined height (x), according to the medium to flow through the capillary gaps (4), inserted between the body (2) and a counter body. The projections (22), forming capillaries, are webs right through. The cover plate (23) is placed loosely on the carrier plate (11), without tension and in various directions. A number of independent capillary gaps (4) are on the body (2), each with an inflow and outflow, or they are wholly or partially linked together with an inflow and outflow at the combined gap. The projections (22) are structured to match the fluid paths on the carrier plate (11).
