Formed cosmetic/dermatological preparation, e.g. a deodorant stick preparation, has improved mechanical stability, imparts a non-greasy feeling when applied to skin

A formed cosmetic/dermatological preparation with improved mechanical stability and non-greasy properties includes 25-70 wt.% of a component which melts at 25-70 deg C. This component includes at least 60 wt.% of polar lipids and may contain up to 40 wt.% of non-polar fatty substances. It may also contain dissolved active agents. Formed preparation, especially in the form of a stick, for application of water-soluble active agents to the skin, comprises: (a) 25-70 wt.% of a component which melts at 25-70 deg C; (b) 0.1-5 wt.% of a water-soluble surfactant; (c) 1-25 wt.% of a water-soluble active agent and/or solvent; and (d) 20-60 wt.% of water or a fine particle (micro)emulsion of an oil component with a drop size below 500 nm. Component (a) comprises (1) at least 60 wt.% of one or more polar lipids and (2) up to 40 wt.% of nonpolar fatty substances, optionally containing dissolved cosmetic or dermatological active agents.
