Device comprises sensors for individual determination of the rotational velocity of each of the four wheels of a vehicle and a device for detection of the noise conditions that interfere with the individual wheel speed measurements. Vehicle speed is then determined according to the varying detected noise conditions. AN Independent claim is made for the sensor device used with each individual wheel for determination of its rotational velocity.
