The hydraulic unit has the control and regulating electronics in a regulator casing and a valve block connected to the casing to which a drive device for a pressure creating element is fitted. This element has a cavity for fluid leaked from it and a flow channel from there to the valve block. The flow channel (16) includes a device (23) which prevents fluid entering the flow channel.
