FIELD: construction engineering; drawing-out pipes laid in ground or in trenches below ground surface. SUBSTANCE: method is based on using the drawing device connected with tractive member which is passed through pipe and is connected with its rear end. Step-by-step drawing of tractive member together with pipe is effected into trench; during each step, drawing performs forward and backward travels. During backward travel, tractive member is held in stressed state corresponding to its elastic tension during forward travel. Thus, tractive member is in stressed state during entire drawing-out process excluding its tension and compression at each step. Tractive member is provided with gripping device mounted at preset distance relative to one another; drawing device includes drawing part which is thrown into engagement with one of gripping devices during forward travel and holding part which is thrown into engagement with one of gripping devices during backward travel.
