<p>The machine has air-guiding ducts (42,44) which direct air flow from a fan wheel to shavings outlet ducts (30a,30b) that contains a tube-like valve (34) which is mounted in a housing, assembled from a number of shell-shaped parts (13a,13b), in an axial- and radial-clearance free manner. The valve can be rotated so that the shavings entrained in the air flow are ejected via one of two outlet duct exits. The machine has a housing within which a planing roller and a fan wheel are mounted that are rotatably driven by a motor, and the housing shells include pipe sockets (31a,31b) which align with and carry the valve. The valve has a lever which extends out of the housing and which can be used to select the direction of air flow.</p> |
