FIELD: dressing of sulfide copper-and-nickel ores. SUBSTANCE: method consists in separation of inherent minerals of platinum metals into platinum-containing gravitation concentrate before conducting floatation dressing; at mass ratio of sum of sulfides and magnetite to sum of silicon and aluminium oxides in raw ore lesser than 1:2, ore is ground to size 30-65% of class lesser than 74 mcm and separation of inherent minerals of platinum metals is performed at maximum magnitude of centrifugal Froude number equal to 2 to 10 and ratio of this magnitude to pressure of fluidizing water of 0,025÷0,23 kPa-1; in processing raw ore at mass ratio of sum of sulfides and magnetite to sum of silicon and aluminum oxides more than or equal to 1:2, ore is crushed to size of 60 to 95% of class lesser than 74 mcm; separation of inherent minerals of platinum metals is performed at maximum magnitude of centrifugal Froude number equal to 0.5 to 1.75 and ratio of this magnitude to pressure of fluidizing water ranging from 0,0058÷0,019 kPa-1.
