METHOD FOR PROPHYLAXIS OF RECURRENCES OF SEPTIC ENDOCARDITIS IN CARDIOSURGICAL OPERATIONS

FIELD: medicine; applicable in cardiovascular surgery under conditions of hypothermia for correction of heart diseases in patients with primary septic endocarditis. SUBSTANCE: prior to surgical correction of diseases on open heart, mechanical and antiseptic sanitation of heart cavities is carried out. Antiseptic is used in the form of 3-5-% aqueous solution of poviargol in volume of 40-60 ml with which heart cavities are sanitated 1-2 times with exposition of 2-5 min. Surgical correction is accomplished with implants which are also treated with poviargol solution. EFFECT: prevented recurrences and complications of septic endocarditis. 1 ex
