The power transmission arrangement (16) of the servo brake comprising the valve piston (7) and pressure component (17) between the input member (5) and reaction component (18) is shortened through the relative movement in such a way that the reaction force in the regulating range of the control valve (2) is no longer transmitted to the input member. The valve piston and pressure component interact telescopically and with the power transmission arrangement in the extended position are interlocked by a locking component (29) which is released by relative movement.
