<p>The present invention relates generally to a method of modulating haemopoietic cell functional activity and agents useful for same. More particularly, said modulation is effected via the Ets-1 gene. Still more particularly, the present invention contemplates a method of modulating mast cell and eosinophil activity. The method of the present invention is particularly useful, inter alia, in the treatment and/or prophylaxis of conditions involving activated haemopoietic cells such as inflammatory diseases, angiogenesis, metastasising tumours and wound repair.</p> |
