FIELD: veterinary virology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vaccine used for prophylaxis of Mareck's disease. Bivalent vaccine has the strain "VNIIZZH/N 110-DEP" (collection of VGNKI) of turkey herpes virus as the base component and the strain SB-1 chicken herpes virus as the enhancing component. Vaccine has the mixture of suspensions of chicken embryo fibroblast suspension infected fibroblast cells, cattle serum blood and dimethylsulfoxide. Mixture of suspensions of infected cells is taken in the amount 60.0-80.0 wt.-%, serum blood 15.0-25.0 wt.-% and dimethylsulfoxide, the balance. Strain VGNKI N "VNIIZZH/N 110" of turkey herpes virus is used at its biological activity 1 x 105 FOE focus-forming unitsl/cm3 not less, and the strain SB-1 chicken herpes virus 1 x 104 FOE focus-forming units cm3., not less. Chicken embryo culture is infected with each virus separately. Ready vaccine is frozen and stored in liquid nitrogen. EFFECT: enhanced immunogenic activity of vaccine. 12 cl, 4 tbl, 1 dwg
