FIELD: evaluation of qualities of various materials. SUBSTANCE: sample is brought in contact with liquid by placing it with tested surface on to vessel filled with liquid. Edges of sample overhang walls of vessel. Sample is held on vessel for specified time with constant maintenance of mentioned contact and liquid is fed into vessel as it is absorbed by sample.
