<p>A drip chamber (16) for a medical fluid delivery system includes a housing (24) having an inlet port (26) and an outlet port (38), and defining a chamber (30) between the inlet and outlet ports. The housing (24) is configured to channel medical fluid in a flow path from the inlet port (26) through the chamber (30) and to the outlet port (38). The inlet port (26) includes a tubular member (27) that extends into the chamber (30) and redirects the path of the medical fluid against a side wall of the housing to reduce the velocity of the medical fluid and minimize formation of air bubbles in the medical fluid. <IMAGE></p> |
