The waste collection unit (1) includes an enclosure (2) made of concrete and an intermediate receptacle (3), with a removable storage bin (4) for the waste products. A pipework system (11-18) is provided, linking the intermediate receptacle with both the outside of the collector, and the internal removable bin. The intermediate receptacle (3) is situated above the storage bin (4) and is normally closed on its lower side by a trap (15). The trap may be opened by a sliding door. Similarly the storage bin also includes a normally closed trap. Both trap doors are opened by sliding in the same direction, and may be operated by a common unit. |
