The pawl (12) on the crosspin (3) can rotate about an axis (11) and is positioned on the crosspiece by springs (10). There is a selector lever (2), spring loaded slide (7) and latching rollers (8) whose face (9) makes contact with the crosspiece in a bowed area also fitted with the sprung pawl whose cammed part ensures that the rollers pass through their top dead centre before the pawl engages and arrests the lever.
