To provide a molded article made of a non-halogenated thermoplastic resin composition, which has an antibacterial activity and high stiffness, and which does not cause evolution of an acidic gas and damage of an incinerator due to a combustion calorie even if it is incinerated, and hardly produces an incineration residue. According to the present invention, there is provided a molded article having an antibacterial activity, characterized in that said molded article is obtained by thermoforming a composition comprising a non-halogenated thermoplastic resin and a bamboo powder, said bamboo powder being contained in an amount of 20 to 80% by weight, using a molding method such as injection molding, extrusion molding or calender molding, or vacuum, air-pressure or press forming of a sheet, said molded article being useful in the applications fields such as light electrical parts, automotive parts, building materials and kitchenwares.
