A scroll-type compressor is provided in which the same terminal box can be used irrespective of whether or not the earth is necessary. A bolt 35 is fixed to the sealing housing 11 for storing the scroll-type compressor mechanism C and a motor for driving the mechanism. A male screw is formed from the bottom to the top of this bolt 35. When it is necessary to earth, the earth terminal 37 is passed through the bolt 35 and the nut 38 is fastened. If the earth is not necessary, the terminal box can be fixed by fixing the plastic cover to the sealing housing after the plastic cover is passed over the bolt 35. <IMAGE> |
