PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain a low pearling pressure in a rice milling device capable of varying this pearling pressure by limiting the flow of polished rice within a polishing chamber by a resistance cap regulated by a spring, or the like. SOLUTION: This rice milling device has the resistance cap 39 which is pivotally supported at a first supporting shaft 41 arranged in parallel with a horizontal revolving shaft and is disposed on the rice discharge side of the polishing chamber freely contactably under a prescribed pressure therewith by a pressure regulating spring 42 having >=1 step of a spring constant, a regulating knob which is freely slidingly disposed at a second supporting shaft 44 intersecting with this first supporting shaft 41 and has a freely turnable roller 45 and a pressure regulating plate 46 which rotates around a fulcrum 41 and is pressed the one surface to the pressure regulating spring 42 and is pressed at the other surface to this roller 45 and curves in a direction where the pressure regulating spring 42 is made shorter the more distant from the fulcrum 41, i.e., toward the roller 45 side. The pearling pressure of the resistance cap 39 is regulated by this plate.
