PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply produce the reinforcing layer arranged on the outer peripheral side of a carcass so as to effectively suppress the generation of the eccentric abrasion of the tread in a pneumatic radial tire, especially, the generation of eccentric abrasion at a time when drive force is applied with high productivity and the degree of freedom of planning. SOLUTION: A reinforcing layer for a pneumatic tire is produced by drawing out a plurality of cords 52 for the reinforcing layer to arrange them in a desired distribution pattern and the cords are simultaneously coated with an unvulcanized rubber by an insulation system and the contour of the reinforcing layer to which coating is applied is molded into a desired shape. As the cords 52 for the reinforcing layer, org. fibers can be used and the above mentioned desired distribution pattern can be made non-linear. |
