PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a titanium material having excellent glare shielding property with a rolling equipment by specifying arithmetical means roughness of the surface roughness and the ratio of this arithmetical means roughness and the mean interval between the projection and the recession. SOLUTION: In the case of exceeding 2.5μm Ra the arithmetic mean roughness on the titanium plate surface, this plate is excessively rough as an armoring material and easily sticks the fouling and has disadvantage from the point of the corrosion resistance. Further, the lower limit of the arithmetic means roughness is not particularly limited, but as the roughness is smaller, the glare shielding property deteriorates. Therefore, the Ra is 0.5-2.5μm. Further it is important in the glare shielding property that the ratio Ra/S of the arithmetical mean roughness Ra and the mean interval Sm between projection and the recession shows the mean inclining degree of the projection and the recession in the whole length of the measuring range. This ratio decides the glare shielding property of the titanium plate and influences to the scattering degree of reflecting light. Then, in order to obtain the sufficient glare shielding property, it is necessary to make the ratio of Ra/Sm >0.01 in the unit of mm.
