PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet enough in high strength, high toughness and corrosion resistance at a low cost. SOLUTION: The method for producing an aluminum alloy sheet has a rolling stage in which an Al alloy material contg., by weight, 0.2 to 2.0% Mg and 0.3 to 15% Mn is rolled by a different circumferential speed rolling mill, a heating stage in which the rolled Al alloy material is heated to a temp. more than the recrystallization temp. of the Al alloy and lower than the solidus temp. by >=5 deg.C and a cooling stage in which cooling is executed after the heating stage.
