PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the reduction in the strength of a shaft body, and thereby enhance its withstand loading. SOLUTION: A rolling bearing 2 and an annular body 2 are outwardly fitted in this order to a shaft body 1 having a brim part 1a directed outwardly in the radial direction at its one shaft end in the side of the brim part 1a, and the contraction in diameter of the center hole of the annular body 3, which is formed in such a way that a place 3a close to the side of the center hole at the outer end face of the annular body 3 is nicked and squeezed, thereby allows the rolling bearing 2 to be retained to the shaft body 1. By this constitution, the shaft body can be kept almost uniform in diameter over the whole length of the shaft body 1, so that its strength can thereby be increased. In addition, since there is no need for processing the shaft body 1 in such a way as to be different in diameter as in the past, production costs can thereby be reduced. |
