PRODUCTION OF TRANSMISSION BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transmission belt not generating difference in level at the belt mark part displayed on the rear surface of the belt and not lowering the adhesive strength between constitutional materials. SOLUTION: A belt mark 8 is printed on the outer surface of the canvas 1 constituting the outer coating layer of a transmission belt by a screen printing method and the canvas 1 is laminated to a cylindrical mold along with a predetermined constitutional material to mold an unvulcanized belt slab and this slab is vulcanized to be finished into the transmission belt. Screen printing is pref. a stamp type screen printing method.
