PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate book binding after printing at high speed by dividing data such as characters or figures into a page unit giving a discrimination number per page, printing data of characters or figures and discrimination number, and determining the insertion position of paper in terms of the printed discrimination number. SOLUTION: When information such as page administration data is received through the indication of user from a host computer 1000, it is divided per page on the basis of paper administration data at the total control part 2 of a book making device 1 before giving ID member. Next, information such as a text image is sent to a rasterizer 3 at a page unit based on the page administration data. However, information per page is appropriately developed at development part #1-8, image data is accumulated in an image file 52 within an image checking part 50. After that, when it is collected in a book by printing on paper from an input stacker 41 and being gathered in an output stacker 42, after printing paper is inserted in a predetermined position of already accumulated paper in accordance with printed ID number.
