<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant, transparent, and flexible medical container that can withstand even high pressure steam sterilization treatment at a temperature of 121 deg.C. SOLUTION: In a medical container having a wall made of a three-layer laminate structure, the innermost and outermost layers of the container wall is made up of a layer mainly composed of a high density polyethylene layer (hereinafter referred to as an HDPE layer) whose density is 0.945 g/cm3 or more and whose peak temperature by differential scanning calorimetry is 125 deg.C or more, the intermediate layer of the container wall is composed of a linear low density polyethylene layer (hereinafter referred to as an LLDPE layer) obtained by a metallocene catalyst, whose density is between 0.925 g/cm3 and 0.935 g/cm3, and the total thickness of the innermost and outermost layers is between 10μm and 80μm.</p> |
