<p>A metal-cleaning material which consists of citric acid 2-25 p.b.w., a metal chloride 0.6-12 p.b.w. chloride (pref. NaCl), a ferric salt 0.07-6 p.b.w. iron salt (pref. Fe2 (SO4)3), and a non-ionic surface active agent 0.001-2 p.b. wt. (Pref. nonylphenylpolyethylene-glycol ether).
