PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recorded image having high water resistance by giving high ink absorption and ink fixation to an ink image receptor sheet used in an ink jet method. SOLUTION: A porous film 1 is treated by a first hydrophilic polymer and cross-linking agent so as to form an ink image receptor sheet. For such a fist hydrophilic polymer, a polymer (a cellulose derivative, a vinyl polymer, a polysulfonic polymer, or the like) which has at least hydroxylic group such as modified polyvinyl alcohol, and for a cross-linking agent can be used, multivalent carbonic acid or its acid anhydride can be also used for the cross-linking agent. The porous film is available even in hydrophilic resin having micro-phase separation structure. Furthermore, in the ink image receptor sheet, it is available to laminate directly a porous layer on at least one surface of the support, and it is available to laminate by the turn on at least one surface of the support an ink absorption layer and porous layer that can be formed by a second hydrophilic polymer (a cellulose derivative, a vinyl alcoholic polymer, a vinyl ester polymer, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, or the like). |
