<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket positioner and a bracket mounting method of an orthodontic apparatus capable of accurately bonding the bracket of the orthodontic apparatus to the tongue side face of a tooth without using technical operations such as T. A. R. G. and C. L. A. S. S. SOLUTION: A bracket positioner 2 includes a guide part 4 bonded to the lip side face 62 of a tooth 6, an arm 3 whose end portion 32 extends over the margo incisalis 63 of the tooth 6 from the guide part 4 to the tongue side face 61 of the tooth 6, and a bracket retaining part 5 removably retaining a bracket 1 at the end portion 32 of the arm 3. By accurately positioning the guide part 4 on the lip side face 62 of the tooth 6 and bonding it thereto, the bracket 1 retained by the bracket retaining part 5 is accurately positioned with respect to the tongue side face 61 of the tooth 6. Since the lip side face 61 of the tooth 6 does not greatly differ among individuals, the bracket positioner 2 can be commonly used for every patient. Therefore, technical operations such as T. A. R. G. and C. L. A. S. S. are not required.</p> |
