摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the print quality by reducing the volume of an atmosphere finding its way into the interior of a printing unit using a masking shield, and air- conditioning the internal space of the printing unit with the help of cooling/heating and humidification/dehumidification equipment in an offset printing machine and a gravure printing machine. SOLUTION: For example, a platelike cover 9 is installed at a specified position from one of the sides of a printing unit constituted of an offset printing plate cylinder 2, a blanket 10 and kneading rollers 3. Thus printing is performed in an almost hermetically closed state. In this case, in order to carry out the air-conditioning, a use sharing sensor 8 for temperature and humidity is installed and the hermetically closed space is air-conditioned using a cooler 7. Consequently the intraspace temperature and humidity can be regulated at higher accuracy and higher response speed than conventionally, and an emulsified ink which is present on the kneading rollers 3 or a printing plate can keep a more stable moisture content than when this device is not used. Further since the gravure printing process is less influenced by a heat generation source, it is easier to control the gravure printing process compared to the offset printing process when the hermetically closed space is air-conditioned as is the case with the offset printing process.
