PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable injection characteristics by simplifying processing of a needle and drilling. SOLUTION: An injector 1 guides a fuel to a nozzle hole 16 through clearances 37, 38 defined by holes 21, 34 of a nozzle body 3 and a needle 4 accommodated therein so as to be vertically movable. The needle 4 is provided with seal portions 35, 36 for narrowing those clearances so as not to allow passage of the fuel. At least one of the nozzle body 3 or the needle 4 is provided with a throttle passage 23 for communication between clearances 37, 38 at upstream and downstream of the fuel flow in the seal portions 35, 36.
