PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use the low cost and low noise turbine type fuel pump, and also to protect and prevent corrosion for that by accommodating the fuel pump inside the fuel chamber located below the fuel tank and installing on the fuel intake side the fuel passage from the fuel tank and the fuel return passage from fuel pressure regulator. SOLUTION: A turbine type fuel pump 12 is accommodated inside a pump cover 13 made of plastics supported by a stay 13a. The pump cover 13 has a fuel inlet nipple 11 on its top, with one end thereof fitted with a connector block 14 made of plastics to form the fuel chamber. Fuel is sent to a high pressure fuel filter 15 by the fuel pump 12, and then is fed to the engine via the high pressure fuel filter 15 after regulated at the constant pressure with a fuel pressure regulator 17a. This enables protection, corrosion prevention, and use of the low cost and low noise fuel pump 12.
