PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container chassis transfer plate which is to grade a level difference between a platform and a container, can be raised and rotated backward easily so that no obstacle is given to opening and closing of a biparting door, allows smooth movement of a cargo handling apparatus such as a fork lift during the works, and can be mounted and dismantled easily. SOLUTION: A transfer plate 1 is to grade a level difference generated between a platform and the floor of each container placed on a container chassis, wherein the front half of the transfer plate 1 is made rotatable while the rear half is made a stationary part 1b, and this rotatable part is formed in a double layer structure consisting of an upper lid part 5 situated over and a bottom frame part 6 situated under. The upper lid part 5 is further divided into a left and a right portion, and the tail of each portion is pivoted at the front edge of the stationary part 1b through hinge as capable of rising and rotating, while the bottom frame part 6 is formed as a frame consolidated with the stationary part 1b, and when the rear door D of the container is to be opened or closed, the two lid portions 5 are raised and rotated backward so that it is possible for the door D to be opened and closed sideways.
