PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a connecting structure which connects a utility pole with a beam member and is used in a supporter for an electric car tramway whereby it is possible to assemble the tramway supporter quickly. SOLUTION: A connecting structure is to connect a utility pole 1 with a beam member 2 in a supporter G for an electric car tramway consisting of an extruded shape material of aluminum alloy and is composed of a plate-form connection part formed by crushing flat the beam member 2 at least in a specified length range at its one end so as to generate a flat external surface or equipped with an undulate external surface where a plurality of waves are formed being directed in the material axis direction of the beam member 2 and a connecting tool 10 fixed to a specified position on the utility pole 1 and connecting to the utility pole 1 the beam member equipped with an abutting part 15 having an abutting surface 13 engaged with or abutting to the external surface of the plate-form connection part, whereby the plate-form connection part 3 is fixed to the abutting surface 13 of the connecting tool 10.
