PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barber's/beautician's chair wherein the lowest position of a vertically movable seat part, and the movable range can be freely set, and in addition, the seat part can vertically move under a horizontal state without shifting the central location. SOLUTION: This barber's/beautician's chair is equipped with a lifting mechanism constituted of a frame 31 which is erected on a base, a link bracket 32, a pedestal part 33 which support a seat part, a first parallel link 50, one end of which is attached to the frame 31, and the other end of which is attached to the link bracket 32, a second parallel link 60, one end of which is attached to the pedestal part 33, and the other end of which is attached to the link bracket 32, a third link rod 70 which connects the first parallel link 50 and the second parallel link 60, and a hydraulic cylinder 80 which is connected to the second parallel link 60.
