<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the clogging of a ceramic diffusing material by a method in which the used ceramic diffusing material is washed with water, immersed in an acid, cleaned, separated from the acid. and baked. SOLUTION: The fitting members such as blowing fittings, packings of a used ceramic diffusing cylinder (diffusing material) are removed, and a diffusing cylinder element is immersed in clean water for 24 hr. the inner and outer surfaces of the diffusing cylinder are brushed, sludge adherent to the surface is scraped off, and the dry element is immersed in 17.5% hydrochloric acid aqueous solution for 24 hr. Next, it is immersed/washed in/with clean water until hydrochloric acid is removed completely. The diffusing cylinder, which was immersed in hydrochloric acid and washed to remove the acid, is dried and baked at 1,200 deg.C in a baking furnace. In this process, organic substances in the diffusing cylinder is eliminated. Next, parts such as packings and fittings, which were washed in a process different from the washing of the diffusing cylinder element, are fitted to regenerate the diffusing cylinder, which is fitted in a reaction tank.</p> |
