<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter apparatus efficiently decomposing waste water by microorganisms by forming the interior of the apparatus into a state near to a natural form and capable of especially efficiently decomposing a nitrogen compound such as amino acid or ammonia not sufficiently treated heretofore. SOLUTION: The upper part of a main body case 1 formed of plastic having light transmissibility is set to a waste soln. inflow part 4 and the lower part thereof is set to a treated soln. discharge part 7 and a plurality of partition plates 11a, 11b having frame-shaped weir plates 10 arranged in the upper surfaces thereof in a protruding state are fitted in the main body case 1 in a multistage fashion and a plurality of treatment chambers 12a, 12b...12e are formed between the partition plates and a large number of water passing holes 2 are opened to one of the up and down adjacent partition plates 11a, 11b inside the weir plates 10 and a large number of water passing holes 2 are opened to the other partition plates outside the weir plates 10 and sintered compacts having decomposing microorganisms are housed in the treatment chambers 12a, 12b...12e and a waste soln. 17 is zigzag dripped in the respective treatment chambers 12a, 12b...12e.</p> |
