<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption due to repeated transmission of ID request, and to realize the reduction without especially damaging a remote communicating function. SOLUTION: In a remote control device having transmitters 26, 28, 23 for sending an ID request; receivers 32, 33 for receiving an answer ID having answered to the ID request; a function control means 31 for controlling the function states of apparatus 40, 60 according to the receiving or nonreceiving of ID; and a portable unit 10 for answering to ID request to transmit ID, the device is equipped with a hand sensor 1 provided at a door handle and a transmitting power control means 31 for reducing the transmission output of ID request after the receivers 32, 33 receive ID without a hand detection. The hand sensor 1 includes a slot antenna having an outside door handle whose surface is a conductive body, a slit provided in the conductive body and an electric power supply point, and the antenna is used in common for the transmission of ID request.</p> |
