PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the handling property and safety of a water supply tank. SOLUTION: In a humidifier which has a steam generator 1 comprising a humidifying container 7 equipped with a humidifying means, a blowout port 12 to send the steam obtained with the humidifying container 7 into a room, and a water storage 8 to keep the humidifying container 7 in fixed quantity of water, and a water supply part 5 comprising a lid 3 equipped with a valve disc 2 to be opened by pressure and a water supply tank 4, and humidifies air by attaching this water supply part 5 to the water storage part 8, and supplying the water storage part 8 with water from the water supply part 5, and generating steam by the humidifying container 7, the water supply tank 4 opposite to the lid 3 of the water supply tank 4 is provided with a through hole, and besides handles 9 are made on the top by the through holes, in the equal positions to the outline of the water supply tank 4, and the handles 9 are positioned in roughly parallel conditions to the blowout port 2.
