PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lock an electric lock by detecting an approach of a wandering aged person. SOLUTION: In a wandering aged person perceiving system equipped with a transmitter 3 always carryed by a wandering aged person; a receiver 2 to detect a signal through the approach of the transmitter 3 carried by the wandering aged person; and an indicator 1 connected to the receiver 2 indicating the receiving of the signal by the rumbling of electronic sound and LED display, the indicator is additionally provided with a relay control section 14 for controlling the electric lock and a relay contact 15, and equipped with a function for controlling the relay control section 14 by detecting the approach of the wandering aged person through the indicator 1 on a detection signal sent from the receiver 2.
