PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper holder for reducing fluttering of a sheet by holding the sheet having binding holes such as loose-leafs or the like without falling-out, and further widely effectively using a sheet surface in a holding state. SOLUTION: In the paper holder comprising holding portions 4, 5 for sandwiching a sheet between one end sides of a first holding plate 2 and a second holding plate 3, and operating units 8, 9 for opening the portions 4, 5 at the other end sides; protrusions 6 insertable into binding holes of the sheet are provided at the portion 4 of the plate 2, the portion 5 of the plate 3 is disposed on the holes of the sheet, engaging portions 7 to be engaged loosely with the protrusions 6 are provided at the portion 5 so that the sheet may not be fallen out from a paper holder body 1, and the portion 5 of the plate 3 reduces an area for concealing the surface of the sheet.
