PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently clean the belt without enlarging an installation area by providing a plurality of cleaning tanks into a plurality of vertical stages and by passing the belt for a belt conveyer through respective cleaning tanks in order. SOLUTION: A cleaning tank 2 for passing an upper-side belt 6a and a cleaning tank 3 for passing a lower-side belt 6b are formed in the respective upper sides with their vertical two-staged partition floors 11, 12 provided in the upper half side of a device main body 10 set to individual tank floors and a recovery tank is formed of the bottom half whole body of the device main body 10. In the cleaning tank 3 and the cleaning tank 2, the respective dipping tanks 3a, 2a are filled with water by jet feeding of wash water from a second recovery chamber 16 of the recovery tank via a pump, a feed pipe 39, and wash water feed pipes 36a, 36b to the top/bottom faces of the belt 6b and from a first recovery chamber 15 via a pump, a feed pipe 57, and wash water feed pipes 55a, 55b to the bottom face of the belt 6 respectively. The belts 6b, 6a become clean by receiving interaction of the jetting and dipping by the wash water.
