PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument having a slide plug without undesirably moving by providing a substantially zero moving resistance. SOLUTION: A gap G is formed between a slide plug 11 and an inner periphery of an ink storage chamber 2, and a liquid film is formed in the gap so that the plug is brought into no contact with the chamber. Thus, a moving resistance of the plug 11 is only a viscous resistance of the film to set the resistance to zero. Then, the plug 11 has a smaller specific gravity than that of an ink 10 to be floated, thereby preventing an undesired sinking of the plug 11 in an erecting attitude. |
