PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the detachment of sealing compound at the time of fastening and the leakage of the contents by coating and drying silane coupling agent on region surface in the groove part of outer periphery of a can cover and further coating and drying the sealing compound thereon. SOLUTION: The annular groove part 2, whose surface coated with the resin is formed as the recessed part, and a flat plate panel part 4 provided through a chuck wall part 3 of the groove part 2, are formed on the outer periphery of a punch-out blank to make the can cover 1. The silane coupling agent is coated on the resin surface of the portion of the groove part 2 in the can cover 1 and dried. Successively, the sealing compound 5 is formed on the coated silane coupling agent in the groove part 2. The sealing compound 5, using a rubber composition of vinyl chloride plastic sol, aqueous latex, etc., is coated on the silane coupling agent coated layer and dried. The obtd. can cover 1 is overlapped and fastened with a flange part projected to the outside of the can at the upper opening end of a can barrel part by abutting the can cover 1 on the groove part 2. |
