PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bad influence by a mite allergen which is once caught by enabling a breathing spot or the like of an allergic patient to be quickly cleaned by a method wherein a fine particle contained in sucked air is caught by a capturing means, and the capturing means is irradiated with ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: A fine particle of dust, a mite allergen, etc., which have been not caught by collection by a prefilter 2, are caught by collection by a main filter 6. Then, though those particles are often caught in an upper stream part of the main filter 6, since a photocatalyst unit 8 exists near this part, and the photocatalyst unit 8 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays by a light source 9, the mite allergen or the like is inactivated by a photocatalytic action of metallic oxides or changed in quality. The altered mite allergen, etc., is fixed to the main filter 6 and caught. Though the inactivated mite allergen, etc., has not been fixed to the main filter 6, a bad influence is never given to an allergic patient or the like thereby. |
