PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile theft display device and a detection method of a theft automobile, which uses a data carrier and which has a simple structure. SOLUTION: This device comprises an IC card 102 which memorizes predetermined information of an automobile, a display device 104 which displays information of the automobile being theft, a radio transmission device 106 which transmits predetermined information memorized by the IC card 102, and a receiving device 108 which receives instruction information to operate the display device 104. Regarding the detection method of a theft automobile, at an automobile equipped with an automobile theft display device 100, when a door is opened without key operation, the display device 104 operates, and predetermined information memorized in the IC card 102 is transmitted by the radio transmission device 106. When the door is opened by key operation, predetermined information is transmitted by means of a judgment of an owner or an administrator of the automobile. The predetermined information is then received by the receiving device 108 of the automobile theft display device 100 so as to operate the display device 104. |
