<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-recessed air conditioner wherein a heat insulating member provided on a bottom surface of a drain pan and a reversely-U-shaped guide provided between a lower portion of a heat exchanger and a blower fan for uniformly guiding a flow of sucked-in air to the heat exchanger are integrally formed together, and an electric cable is installed in a cavity of the guide. SOLUTION: A drain pan 7 is provided on the bottom surface thereof with a heat insulating member 7', which confronts with the bottom of a heat exchanger 6, and which extends toward a blower fan 4 to form a guide 8 continuously thereto. The guide 8 is notched at the lower side thereof to form a notch 8a having a cross section of substantially reverse-U shape and an electric cable is installed therein.</p> |
