<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems on the rotation of a caliper caused by the clearance between a mount bolt and a bolt hole by providing a joint surface of the caliper and a supporting member with a surface vertical to a disc shaft, and restricting the movement of the caliper by this surface. SOLUTION: The clearance (t) for absorbing the displacement of the pitches of the holes of a bolt hole 2 and a mount bolt 3, exists therebetween. By the structure that both surfaces 10 at the rotating-in and rotating-out side of a disc are located at a side close to (or far from) a disc rotor 8 with respect to the mount bolt 3, the rotation of the caliper 1 by the braking torque is generated on one of the surfaces 10 as a fulcrum, so that the caliper rotating quantity can be reduced in comparison with a conventional product. A joint surface of the caliper and a supporting member includes a surface vertical to a disc shaft, and the rotation of the caliper caused by the clearance between the bolt hole and the mount bolt is stopped by the restricting action by this surface, so that the impairing the braking performance, the partial abrasion of a pad, and the increase of the creak caused by the rotation of the caliper can be prevented.</p> |
