<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous carbon black dispersion capable of preventing printed letters from running, for example, when an aqueous medium such as tea is spilled on the printed product before long after printed, and useful as an aqueous ink for ink jet printers, writing tools, etc., by limiting a water resistance grant arrival time within a specific value. SOLUTION: This aqueous carbon black dispersion has a water resistance grant arrival time of <=3 min, and comprises, for example, (A) a >=3C alcohol, (B) an alkylalcoholamine, and (C) carbon black. The aqueous dispersion is preferably controlled to pH 5-10 and a component C content of 0.5-50 wt.%. The component C is preferably subjected to an ozone oxidation treatment in the presence of water, and has total acidic groups of >=3μequ/m2, an active hydrogen content of <=2 mmol/g, a particle diameter of 10-30 nm and a DBP oil absorption volume of 50-180 cc/100 g.</p> |
